In Southaven: KC Barbeque Society Brings Competition to Memphis

KCBS and Sam's Club have teamed up for the Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour. The Tour is bringing the heat and smoke to Southaven on September 6th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sam's Club on Goodman Rd E. Local barbecue enthusiasts are invited to join Pitmaster Michael McDearman for an afternoon of free backyard barbecue demos and samples while competition teams cook for cash prizes and top honors.

The Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour is the largest and richest tournament in the history of competition barbecue. In 2014, over 700 teams will compete for $500,000 in prize money, across 31 competitions nationwide. Click here for more information about the competition.
