Greenways, greenlines or urban trails–they’re all a great place to get some exercise!

After spending so much time indoors during the winter months, the first hint of Spring makes us anxious to get out and move around. Luckily, Memphis has plenty of great places to stretch your legs and spend some time in nature. Check out some of these urban trails around town:

  • Downtown: Mississippi Greenbelt Park – Mud Island – 1.5 mile pedestrian trail
  • Midtown: V&E Greenline – Running from Watkins and North Parkway to Springdale and Vollintine – 1.7 mile urban greenspace
  • East Memphis: Shelby Farms Greenline – Running from Tillman St. at Walnut Grove Rd. to Farm Road at Mullins Station Rd. – 6.5 miles urban trail
  • Germantown: Wolf River Greenway – Walnut Grove Road to Shady Grove Road – 2.72 miles greenway trail
