Take Your Best Friend to the Park

Relax and have fun with your furry friend at a local dog park.

Keeping Fido happy and healthy in an apartment means getting him out for frequent exercise. It’s good for everyone! And Memphis has several great dog parks your pet is sure to enjoy. In Midtown, check out Overton Bark, a 1.3 acre park with separate areas for large and small dogs as well as water fountains and an obstacle course. If you happen to be near Shelby Farms Park, the Outback is 100 acres of multi-use area where your four-legged pal can romp around off-leash. Downtown you’ll find the Barking Lot at the corner of Jefferson and Main. And, if you’re near the Cooper-Young neighborhood, the City of Memphis Dog Park is just north of Tobey Park.
