FireworksHere’s a sampling of fun ways to spend Independence Day (and the days leading up to it)  in and around Memphis:

  • Begin celebrating early by seeing the Memphis Symphony and the Second Presbyterian Church choir at the Levitt Shell on June 29th. Or head to see the Memphis Redbirds play New Orleans at AutoZone Park, June 30th – July 3rd.
  • Spend July 1 at Shelby Farms for music, food and fun as well as a laser light show.
  • Check out the fireworks on July 3rd in Millington, Bartlett, Collierville, and the Memphis Botanic Gardens.
  • Enjoy another round of fireworks on July 4th in Germantown, Olive Branch, Southaven, and Mud Island.
