Did you indulge a little too much this holiday season? Holiday weight gain happens to the best of us. Here are some tips to get you back on track:
- Set a reasonable goal to achieve. Plan to give yourself a reward when you get to your goal.
- Clear out the fridge and freezer in your apartment of any unhealthy holiday leftovers. Only buy fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, seeds and low-calorie snacks.
- Find a workout buddy so that you can hold each other accountable.
- Try a new form of exercise that will make you excited to get off the couch. Maybe a new class or a new exercise DVD. Or, if your apartment community has a fitness room, make plans to visit it often.
