Keep the Bugs Away

Bugs can be fascinating to look at outside, but one thing is for sure, no one wants bugs in their apartment. Just like humans, critters need food, water and shelter to survive. By eliminating their food supply and getting rid of bugs’ favorite hiding spots, you can reduce the risk that insects will take up residence in your apartment.

  • Keep your apartment home clean. Bugs feast on leftover food and crumbs. Clean out any junk or clutter from your storage areas.
  • Seal any crevices or cracks that lead to the outside. By tightening up the entry points that insects and rodents use to gain access, you can greatly improve your chances of staying critter-free.
  • Utilize pest control. If you feel you can handle minor bug problems, use safe pest control products available on the market.
  • Place trash in dumpsters or areas designated for trash in your apartment community. Do not leave trash in breezeways, outside your door, etc.

All MRG communities have pest control programs but if routine servicing isn’t taking care of your pest problem, contact your community’s office for further assistance.
