Social Distance Your Way into Reopening

May 4, 2020

While there may be some conflicting information floating around about when and how things will get back to normal, something we can all continue to do to minimize the spread of Covid-19 is social distancing, which means maintaining at least 6 feet between you and others who do not live in your household.  Some studies suggest that this distance should be much greater if you are running or biking.  Other habits that can help:

  • Thoroughly washing our hands, at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Wear a mask or face covering, particularly if social distancing may be a challenge
  • Cover your mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and then throw the tissue away – or cough/sneeze into your elbow if you don’t have a tissue
  • Clean/disinfect frequently touched surfaces often

These are all simple things we can do to make sure that efforts to get back to business are more successful!
